Organizational Structure
@MIIS
Volunteer Coordinator:
The volunteer coordinator is in charge of providing guidance and overseeing projects being developed at MIIS. She/he is the main contact between One Less's program manager and volunteers at MIIS.
Fundraising Officer:
The fundraising officer is in charge of seeking funding opportunities such as grants and fundraising events.
Program Support Officer:
The program officer is in charge of designing a specific project with the help of the volunteer coordinator and other volunteers.
Each officer works on a different project and is in charge of guiding volunteers interested in working under those specific areas. The volunteer coordinator and the officers form the One Less Leadership Team. They are also the recipients of the Richard Fura Fellowship.
Research Teams:
Students interested in researching the issue of human trafficking are invited to focus on certain research topics to better support One Less.
At One Less, we believe students can be empowered through their work; therefore, we encourage volunteers to provide a Terms of Reference (TOR) for what THEY would like to focus on while working with One Less. The TORs are reviewed by the program manager and finalized by the beginning of each semester.
